I provide free event consultation, by phone or Zoom, about the mood and music, attire, and any other specifics you want. I have a large music repertoire; you can choose songs or I'll create an appropriate set list for you. I provide professional service and quality sound system and instruments. I can provide an additional wireless microphone for announcements, etc. on request. I can provide live danceable music, but I don't provide DJ sound systems or services. Base charges for events with up to 50 people: 1 hour: $225, 2 hours: $325, 3 hours: $400. Additional charges may be incurred for additional equipment needed for outside venues, groups larger than 50 people, working up new music, travel > 30 miles (usually $0.50/mile). What you can expect: On the day of your party, I'll arrive an hour early to set-up and test the sound system. For performances lasting > 2 hours, I may take a 10 minute break and play appropriate streamed music. I will leave the performance area clean. What I need: usually a performance space of at least 6 x 8' and a dedicated, grounded 110V electrical receptacle. If the event is outside, suitable covering and/or contingency plans for inclement weather will be agreed upon. Unless otherwise stated, 25% Deposit is due upon contract agreement; the remaining balance is due before 2 days prior to the event.

I've played music for years, and have a pretty extensive repertoire. I listen for what's important to you and make sure that happens.

I have loved playing music since my early teens. After learning music from the 60's-70's I started discovering great music from other styles and decades; Hoagy Carmichael, Jimmy Hendrix, Jimmy Buffett, Jason Isbell, Jason Mraz, Michael Jackson, George Strait, Dire Straits - I love seeing how people respond to the music. I started looping my guitar about 10 years ago, and started adding my own backing tracks in 2022 to provide a fuller sound that people can dance to, as well.
