Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I try to set my fees as reasonable as possible but I would like to understand your situation so I may be able to work out a solution acceptable to both of us.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to talk, on the phone or face to face. I want to understand the clients need and wishes so that I can make the affair as close to what they want as possible. I am quite busy and can usually arrange for the clients to hear me in person. I also have made several CD's and can send you one. It's also important to not waste the clients time if I'm not able to provide what they want.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Forty years of experience performing for all types of audiences. Studied Saxophone with several teachers over the years. Played with and led many musical groups.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Started lessons in the fourth grade. Was playing with a band for parties and dances at age 12. My Uncle taught me how to play and got a job for me in his Uncles orchestra.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have played for Corporations, Universities, Individuals. Restaurants, Banquets. For Dances, Parties, Holiday events, Wedding receptions background music for cocktail party's Entertainment for retirement communities. I play a wide variety of music.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

My latest project was developing a one-man- band using my computer to play the background music and me either playing Sax, or singing. I have to say it was a big success. As a result, I am very busy. I perform several times a week.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Get a demo Video or mp3, even better see them perform in person.
