Don’t let the laid back name fool you, Just Dave Band is a charismatic, high energy country band that plays real country, but with rock/pop tunes that even the most casual guests can party to. With 20 years of experience playing about 60 years worth of country, rock, and pop, we’re always learning new songs to keep your crowd happy (and dancing)! Let me help you craft the perfect setup for your event, from a solo performer to a full band that rivals the Grand Old Opry. I prefer phone consults to quick quotes (because there's a lot more JDB Ent. can bring to the table than just some tunes), but trust me when I tell you "This ain't our first rodeo!"

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Distance (mileage), length of event (not just the performance time), and how many band members best fit your event are the key factors in customizing your quote. Number of guests (size of event) is important, too, to gauge what size of sound system we need to bring to your event. If it's too big a job for me, I'll tell you!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Your success and overall happiness is the most important to me. I'm personable and always prefer to have a phone conversation/consultation to better understand what works best for you (a DJ, Band, combo of the two, size of band, etc). I'm full of great ideas, too, and may run a few across you that you might not have thought of.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Singing in church, choir, and then one day, singing and playing harmonica in bars. The rest I picked up along the way.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I've done band and solo musician jobs for major television shows like The Bachelor, American Idol and The Masked Singer, not to mention a few wrap parties, too. As an MC I've hosted major festivals and fundraisers across the country, including my own radio show, not to mention years of experience introducing wedding parties! Oh! And I have led a band for over 20 years, working for event companies, clubs, festivals, and most importantly, private clients.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The best advice I can give is that there are no dumb questions. The more you ask if your potential vendor can deliver what you have in mind, the closer you'll get to what you have in mind.
