We have two things to offer: 1- Live music with our band, the Studio O Rhythm Section- called one of the most versatile bands around (anything from a solo pianist, to a 9 piece ensemble with a horn section, - depending on your desires and budget). 2- Lessons- private, personal and professional music instruction from beginner through intermediate and beyond. I (Mike) teach drums and percussion. My group will play straight-ahead jazz standards by artists like Miles Davis, Dexter Gordon, Duke Ellington, and Thelonius Monk. I love playing jazz music and hearing from my customers that they greatly enjoyed the music. I can work with you to customize the band for your event. Instruments include saxophone, trumpet, piano (or keyboard), guitar, acoustic bass, drums, and vocals.
