If your budget matches, I would love to put together a custom quote for your event! 👍 🙏 Lately I have been primarily performing solo acoustic shows since my drum machine, looper, and other pedals can allow me to layer multiple instruments as one person. I’ve been performing cover songs and original music in live setting for over 20 years. My repertoire includes songs ranging from the 1950s to present day including the likes of The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Talking Heads, Sugar Ray, Norah Jones, Leon Bridges, and (clean) Kendrick Lamar. (Ask for my song list!) In addition to playing in electric bands, I’ve been performing dozens of solo acoustic shows each year for a quite some time. In turn, I have been able to become better and better at working with a wide age range, special requests, and can assist with event planning. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Discussing details of the event, sending over a contract for the event, arriving at the agreed upon time and performing for the agreed upon time or potentially longer if the client would like. After that, settle up compensation for the event, and again thank whoever hired me to perform.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I've been fortunate to be have over 20 years of performing music and I taught music and guitar lessons for several years before transitioning into performing more and more solo acoustic shows. I studied music history, theory, and technology both in and out of college along while continuing to take vocal lessons over the years.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I feel like I knew really wanted to keep making music in a live setting when I got to perform the Star Wars into on violin at age 10 during an assembly showcasing the strings program for the school. I'd never had people erupting in applause for anything I'd done before so that sealed the deal of pursuing what I was really good at, loved, and enjoyed that a lot of other people love and enjoy too. I quickly graduated to the guitar and after performing at several festivals, dozens of venues, and recording at different studios in New England, I made the move to Colorado. From there, I found a love for performing acoustically outside of the bands I'm in and have made the move from primarily playing bars and restaurants to performing more private events.

What types of customers have you worked with?

My first paid private performance here in Colorado on 8/9/2025 for John and Debbie's 40th Anniversary. The party is expected to have an age range of 8-85 so I carefully curated the setlist to be clean, fun, and diverse across the decades. I was able to perform at a couple of different private events like birthdays, a backyard BBQ, and New Year's Eve parties back in New England and I'm looking to more of that here in Colorado.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Getting to visit Buena Vista for the first time to perform during their farmers' market was a fun, creative challenge. It was a four hour market from 9-1pm so I feel like I spaced out the sets well while performing, got to randomly see and catch up with a couple different friend groups from Denver. Getting to see people dancing to the music I make even at a farmers' market was a great sight to see, as is the town of Buena Vista in general with several beautiful backdrops down there. It was another fortunate occasion where the tips I earned nearly surpassed the base pay for it, usually a good sign you're at least doing something right.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The more details you can give us about the event and atmosphere you would like for the event the better!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Sometimes all you have to do is ask: How long have you been performing for? Have you performed at these types of events before? What would your overtime fees look like? (if the performer stayed longer than what was agreed upon in the contract) We really like A, B, and, C, songs as well as X, Y, and Z artists, would you be able to play them at the event? What does your sound system consist of? Anything else you can think to ask too only helps!
