I've been doing magic for over 15 years. My act includes audience participation, fire, sleight of hand & comedy. I have a great show for children, families, adults and businesses/ corporate events. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing varies slightly depending on the type of show, length and availability.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I try and make working with new clients as easy as possible. We take a small deposit to secure the date and time and everything else is on autopilot for the client. I show up, bring everything I need for the show and instantly pack up and leave.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

YES. I am all about learning the latest illusions, and developing new magic all the time. I love to challenge myself and my audience by continuing to keep my act fresh and exciting.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started out doing stand up comedy and then spent 15 years with an improv comedy troop.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I am currently working with small animals and incorporating them into my show. It took several months for them to be stage ready and I look forward to using them when the situation is appropriate.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If you are looking to hire any entertainer, make sure to check their reviews for an excellent rating. Also, make sure that they specialize in the type of entertainment that you are looking for. For example, if you are looking for a magician for your children's birthday party, make sure that that magician is an expert in working with kids.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

There are several types of magic, close-up/strolling (which is good for large cocktail parties and such), stage/parlor shows (which is excellent for both small groups and large ones), children's magic, trade show, etc. You should think about how many people will be there, size of the venue and amount of time in order to get the best value in entertaining your guests.
