Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Unfortunatly, I don't offer any discount. Instead, I offer fair quotes that give customers excellent value for what they are paying for.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
1. I speak with the customer to find out the vision and scope of the project, which I use to determine if I'm a good fit for what the customer has in mind. 2. If we both agree that I fit the job description, then I will let the customer know my quote for the gig. 3. If we both agree on the quote, then I will add the event to my gig calendar thus ensuring that I will not book another event during that time frame. I will send the customer an invoice/contract if needed. 4. I will reach out to the customer, close to the date of the event to see if there are any changes or updates that I need to be aware of.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I've taken professional, private lessons for trumpet and piano. I take ongoing professional, private lessons for guitar, vocals, and music theory.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I went to college on a scholarship for engineering but ultimately decided to drop out and pursue my lifelong passion for music. I've been involved with music in some shape for the majority of my life. I really begin to focus on singing and guitar playing a few years ago and began to play professionally in 2016.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
1. Most of my clientele are venues such as restaurants, bars, wineries, etc. 2.I also do a fair amount of corporate events ranging from a few dozen people to thousands. This includes company happy hours, conferences, networking events, grand openings, etc. 3. I have performed weddings providing entertainment for cocktail hour, the ceremony, and the reception. 4. I have performed for private events such as birthdays, pool parties, memorial services, graduations parties, etc. 5. I have performed for festivals, holidays, community picknics, etc.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I had two shows for 4th of July. The first was a huge event that featured a 5k race, mulitple bands, food trucks, and fireworks. There was close to 30 thousand people in attance and I was the opening act. The second show was a small commnity event that had food, fire works, and local artist. There was a coulple of dozen people in attence. I really enjoyed that day because it didn't matter if there were 30,000 people watching me or just 30, I still love what I do and give my best effort every time.
