Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

All of my performances are a minimum of $500-$600. This includes 3 hours of entertainment. Pricing covers labor, travel expenses, and Thumbtack fees. If you're project is different and requires more performances time, I'm happy to oblige and provide a custom quote for you!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Specific styles and song requests are covered first. If that's clear, then we specify location and time, followed by payment details.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I've been a musician since I was 10 years old. I've performed in various bands and trained other musicians since then. I've been performing live music at a variety of events over the past 3-4 years including weddings, birthday parties, corporate events, etc.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Though I've always been a performer, I started getting paid as a solo artist in April of 2018. I got started by simply requesting to play at venues.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I've worked with all kinds of customers, playing at bars, private parties, even surprise marriage proposals. I work with all ages and play a wide range of music.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently played a private party for New Years. I set up outside in their backyard by the lake and played a lot of fun Rock tunes for about 4 hours. There was a bonfire, great food, and some awesome fireworks. Good times.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Just be open and communicative about what you want. You might be surprised at how well we can accommodate your requests 😉
