I (Mari O.) am a Singer Song Writer, Entertainer and Producer. A Senior Idol Finalist in 2016. An Award Winning Composer with 35+ years of experience in the Music Industry. I studied Music and Music Education at Florida International University. Earned a Bachelor's Degree from Regents College in New York. My Eclectic approach to Music shapes the Band's Musical Sound. This unique mix of genres include: Dance, Classic Rock, Pop, Latin, Jazz, Sing-Along, Blues, Doo Wop, Ballad, Instrumental and Caribbean Music. When I am not performing as a Solo Artist, I am accompanied by my Band - Mari O. and the "Q" Band - which may consist of a Duo, Trio or Quartet. At times you may also find me at a Corporate Event playing with a Seven Piece Orchestra. One thing is for certain-whether I play on an Intimate Stage like the Italian American Social Club in Palm Coast, Florida - The Sophisticated Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach, Fl. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Solo = $125.00 Per Hour Note: Traveling fee (Beyond my zone of 100 miles one way up to 150 miles) - Will require an additional charge of $25.00 to cover gas and traveling time.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

To assure them that I/We are here to serve them and to provide the Best Musical Entertainment Experience possible for their guests. I/We are here to help them realize their Vision. And to ensure that the Event is a Success for every one involved.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I, (Mari O.) am a Singer Song Writer, Entertainer and Producer. A Senior Idol Finalist in 2016. An Award Winning Composer with 35+ years of experience in the Music Industry. I worked with FJM Productions (Super Bowl Half Time Entertainment Producers) for many years in a Show Band called "Game" I have performed on Intimate Stages and Grand Venues. From the Italian American Social Club in Palm Coast, Florida - To the Sophisticated Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach, Fl. Or a World Class Venue as Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, Florida.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was raised in a Musical Family. So Music and Entertainment has always been a part of my life.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

2019 Christmas Dinner/Dance Party in Ormond Beach. Fl. At Plantation Bay Country Club. It took about Five Hours.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask for a Song List. Bands must be versatile- able to reach ALL of your guests. So Music variety should be reflected in their repertoire (Unless you are hosting a 50's Revival Party-then Doo Wop Music would be expected). Take a look first at Bands/Entertainers that have LIVE Videos. Photos and "Recordings' are fine... but it behooves you to hear/know ahead of time what you are really paying for. Work with Bands/Entertainers that do not forget that they are there to SERVE you! They should be able to meet your needs regardless of what they are (Within reason of course.) What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Budget! (Some of these are obvious) Any extra fee for Traveling/accommodations? Some Bands travel quite a distance-so they may require Food as part of their agreement. Is a Deposit needed? Contract? Brakes between Sets? How many Hours of Entertainment? Time: Start to Finish. Depending on your budget: How many Musicians? Single, Duo. Trio etc. Also refer to the above paragraph for additional questions you may want to ask.
