I play a VARIETY of music genres to include Motown, Country, R&B, Rock and Pop. Classics to Current! Artists like Ed Sheeran, Chris Stapleton, The Temptations, Jimmy Buffett, Marvin Gaye, and many more. My equipment provides me with a very big sound and is a great alternative to hiring a full band. I handle all the vocals and guitar work while my systems provide the harmonies and additional instrumentation. I love performing live to a great audience. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I typically work with customers who have a budget of $600-$1000 for a Solo Musician. Several factors come into play that can result in the variance. I will be happy to discuss those with any interested client. For instance if you are an Venue manager that hires musicians on a recurring basis it may be possible for me to work with a lower budget. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I encourage the customer to check out my online profile and reviews. Once they are satisfied that I am a good fit I require a small deposit to hold the date. The balance would then be due the date of the event. If the customer has specific tunes they would like to hear I will work to add those to the lineup given enough time to make them sound good. I will go the extra mile to see that they are happy with my services.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have over 40 years experience, playing, writing, and singing music. It is my passion.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I got started by playing music in Church.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with local venues, restaurants, bars and individuals for private parties.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

My most recent gig was at a lakefront property where I provided the entertainment for the client's Birthday party. There were many various tastes among the audience and all seemed to be happy and impressed with they type of music I was performing.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

You get what you pay for!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

How long has the individual been in the business? Do they have professional level equipment? Are they flexible if the event goes longer than planned? What is unique about what they provide?
