What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing is determined based on the deliverables including number of hours, live performance requirements and production, DJ, Emcee, number of participants, location, date of the event.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Once this information is understood number of hours, live performance requirements and production, DJ, Emcee, number of participants, location, date of the event, I schedule a 20 minute call to ensure alignment provide an estimate. If engagement is accepted issue a contract and collect a deposit.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am an inactive CPA, own other businesses and have a track record of success running bands for 20 years. Lot of references and never had an uncollected receivable.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started performing in 1992 and have been doing so ever since. As I learned more about the business, I found I enjoy making people happy and love performing music.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Corporates, Non-Profits and Individuals for Anniversaries, Weddings, Fundraisers, life milestone (Bar Mitzvahs, 40th,50th, 60th Birthdays. Customer Appreciation events and Community Festivals and Block Parties.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure you have a clear understanding of what you want and don't want. Think about how music aligns with your event outcomes for guests as well as you.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Outside or Inside, if outside what is your plan if bad weather happens? What genre of music best fits the vibe of my event? Does this band play songs my guests will recognize and enjoy? Do I want high-energy dancing, background ambiance, or both? How much of the event success is tied to music? How does my music budget align with my total budget?
