What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Payment terms are negotiable.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to hop on the phone to discuss the details of your event. I can write custom material specific to any audience or guest of honor, and can also provide sound / lighting equipment if needed.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I trained at The Second City comedy theater and am a regular performer at Zanies Comedy Club and the Laugh Factory in Chicago.

What types of customers have you worked with?

From Fortune 500 companies to baby showers and everything in between! The great thing about standup is it's totally customizable for every audience, & I specialize in creating comedy for all types of crowds & events.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Recently I was hired to perform at a 21st birthday that featured a surprise roast of the birthday girl after a standup performance. I wrote custom material (thanks to info from her mom), and ending her birthday with a light hearted roast completely made the event!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Hire comedians with proven credits & a track record of success. You should be able to ask where you can see them next that week, if they can't answer - move on! Don't be afraid to ask for referrals, good comedians make for good customers that love talking about how comedy made their event special.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Think about how long of a performance you want, and if you have the necessary set up (microphone/PA, lighting, stage). Many comedians can work in any venue or provide the necessary equipment but having the proper tools to set them up for success can go a long way to creating a great event.
