What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Let's get on the phone to discuss the details of your event. If needed I can provide sound and lighting equipment and can write custom material specific to any audience or the guest of honor at an event

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I trained at The Second City comedy theater and am a regular performer at Zanies Comedy Club in Chicago.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

A lifelong fan of comedy, I studied at the Second City Training Center and could not shake the bug for performing comedy after that.

What types of customers have you worked with?

From corporate gatherings and formal banquets, to weddings, anniversaries and birthday parties I have been lauded for my ability to adapt to any audience and provide relatable entertainment to people of any age or background.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I have developed an expertise for writing and performing roasts for birthdays or corporate functions. The process of learning about the guest of honor and writing jokes that poke fun at them is very enjoyable and audiences LOVE watching this. A lighthearted roast is a great way to create an unforgettable event!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look for quality over value, good comedians will have a professional video of them performing and some reputable credits from places they have performed. The comedian with the lowest price may not be able to provide a show your guests will be talking about for years.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Think about how long of a performance you want, and if you have the necessary set up (microphone/PA, lighting, stage). Many comedians can work in any venue or provide the necessary equipment but having the proper tools to set them up for success can go a long way to creating a great event.
