What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Booking Greg & Aleesha is easy. Once you get in touch and work out scheduling and logistics, they will do everything possible to meet your entertainment needs and requests. They are happy to share a song list of what they play so that you can build a custom setlist for your event. Throughout the process, they pledge to be accessible and flexible. If anything changes or you need to make additional requests, they will do everything they can to accommodate you.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Greg is a classically trained pianist, having studied for 13+ years. He completed the advanced level of the Music Teachers’ Association of California’s Certificate of Merit program and gained admission to the USC Thornton School of Music. Aleesha is a musical theater-trained singer, actress, and MC.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Greg has been playing piano professionally for more than 15 years, while Aleesha has been performing in the theater since her youth. After years of friendship and informal jamming on radio hits and Disney songs, they came together for their first performance as a duo at a birthday party in 2016. At the event, multiple guests inquired about booking them for future events, including an engagement party and another private event. Since then, they’ve played at a constant string of events, including some that took them out of town, including trips to Nashville, DC, LA, Vegas, Hawaii, and Vancouver.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
They work regularly with individual and corporate clients, with performances that include company milestones and offsites, marriage proposals, wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions, celebrations of life, galas, fundraisers, birthday parties, house concerts, and performer showcases.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Find an entertainer or group that feels like the right fit for you. Please understand that a performer’s rate is not based on them merely showing up and playing. Rehearsal and prep time, especially if you have specific song requests, travel time, setup and breakdown time, as well as potential site visits, are also part of the process.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Are there specific artists, songs or styles that you want to be performed? Do you want the music to provide ambiance, or do you want people to get up and dance? How big is the space where you want the performance to take place?
