Introduction

"The musician that makes your party the one your guests will rave about." I didn't come up with that. It's what clients tell me 99% of the time! PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING ME ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพ My minimum fee is $1250 for a solo performance. If your budget matches, I would love to put a custom quote together for your special event. Thanks ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ Whether it's playing solo acoustic, with a full band or anywhere in between, I've been performing cover and original songs for over 13+ years. My repertoire spans from 1960s through the present, so there is a little something for everyone! (Ask for my song list!) For 8 years, I performed dueling pianos over 3-5 nights per week. Then on top of that, I was doing private events as a solo act and singing in contemporary church services. So I'm great with a wide age range, special requests and can assist with event planning. (Please note that while I have lots of experience in praise and worship services, I am not booking church services at this time) I would love to provide price quotes tiered for up to a 3 piece band. That way you can find the perfect balance for your budget and music entertainment needs.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My minimum fee is $750. Typically I can perform solo for up to 2.5 hours for that price. Because every project is different, I'm happy to provide custom price quotes tiered for up to 3 musicians. That way you can find the perfect balance for your budget and music entertainment needs.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Typically the customer will email me to start the conversation. We'll then schedule a quick call to go over specifics. From there, I will issue a contract and take a 20% deposit to hold the date. I will send a form that the client and anyone involved in the planning can fill out. Any questions and follow up calls are welcomed once the date is confirmed. The balance is due 7 days prior to the day of the performance.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started performing solo and in bands while I was a preteen in church. Though I graduated from Belmont University in Nashville, I moved home to Kentucky and started working in corporate jobs. After open-mics and occasional gigs, I started seriously pursuing music in 2010 and went full-time in 2013.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Typically there are 3 types of clients I work with. - Wedding couples that want music for ceremony, cocktail hour and/or reception. I perform solo and with up to a 3-piece band. - Corporate event planners that need music entertainment for their specific events and parties. - Private party clients. These are typically celebrations like graduations, milestone birthday parties or just an excuse to get together with friends. Usually, I will perform in the client's home. Sometimes the client will rent a venue for the party. I'm open to whatever the client decides.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
My favorite recent booking was a small, lakeside wedding. I provided live music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dancing after dinner. The couple wanted their guests to experience their ideal date night which was going to a pizza bar with a singer-songwriter performingโ€ฆ but a little more fancy. It was an all-day event.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Since I perform private events often, I can offer my advice on anything from flow of events, length of performance and song selection.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
The client should know their budget and confirm the venue where the event will take place before contacting me. Without this information, it is difficult to make a quote.
