Joe Sabourin is a New England based solo guitarist. He has worked as a wedding/private event musician for almost a decade, playing for wedding ceremonies, receptions, birthday parties, proposals, and corporate events. Joe Sabourin is available as a solo musician for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, private events, parties, or restaurants. He can also be hired as a duo with singer Katie O'Brien.

I work with the customer to create a beautiful music experience for any Dinner party, Cocktail party, Wedding, Holiday event or funeral.

A certified Suzuki violin and viola Instructor with a BM and MM in viola performance, I offer private lessons in the Portland, ME area. Experienced in teaching both beginners and those with experience, I am happy to teach students of all ages and levels. I currently have openings in my studio, and would love to hear from you! It is my belief that music should be available to those of all backgrounds, and I aim to reach a wide range of individuals through both my teaching and performing. Learning an instrument can shape who you are, developing work ethic, confidence, and ownership. Through the study of music, there are countless life skills that can be learned; creativity, listening, communication, compassion, empathy - just to name a few. These skills developed through learning a musical instrument benefit each individual as a whole, and can be applied in every other aspect of life and learning.
