Whether it's an intimate setting for a solo acoustic serenade, with a full band or anywhere in between, I've been performing cover songs for more than 30 years. My repertoire spans anywhere from the mid 1960s until the present day. From The Beatles to Garth Brooks to Radiohead to Ed Sheeran . (Ask for a copy of my song list!) I perform more than 100 public and private events every year and have a wide knowledge of musical genres. I'm also great with special requests and can assist you with your event planning. I'm more than happy to provide pricing tiered up to a 5 piece band. That way you can find the perfect harmony for your wallet and entertainment appetite.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My minimum fee is $500. Typically I can perform solo for up to 3 hours for that price. If traveling more than 50 miles outside of the Chicagoland area, pricing would be adjusted to include travel/lodging expense. Every project is different and I'm happy to provide you with quotes tiered from a solo performance up to a 5 piece band. That way you can find the perfect balance for your budget and music entertainment needs.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Customers email me first, then schedule a quick phone call to talk details. From there, I will issue a contract and take a 50% deposit to hold the date. Any questions and follow up calls are welcomed once the date is confirmed. The balance is due on the day of the performance.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have "Real World Experience". In other words, I've learned my craft by doing. My "education" has been through performing 100's shows over the past 30 years.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started singing in the shower, performing solo events as well as in bands while I attended high school as well as college.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Typically there are 3 types of clients I work with. - Wedding couples that want music for ceremony, cocktail hour and/or reception. I perform solo and with up to a 5 piece band. - Corporate event planners that need music entertainment for their specific events and parties. - Private party clients. These are typically celebrations like graduations, milestone birthday parties or just an excuse to get together with friends. Usually, I will perform in the client's home. Sometimes the client will rent a venue for the party. I'm open to whatever the client decides.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I don't take bookings more than 6 months out. Many of my bookings are done within 3 months to 1 week prior to the event.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Since I perform private events on a weekly basis, I can offer my advice on anything from flow of events, length of performance and song selection.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

The client should know their budget and confirm the venue where the event will take place before contacting me. I'm flexible, but these details help move the booking process along faster.
