What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our pricing reflects our expertise and equipment: Wedding Package (4hr minimum)=$825 Additional options include: -Dance Floor Show=$125 -Fog machine=$120hr Corporate Events: 130hr Proms: $400 flat rate (includes lighting) Private Parties: $120/hr Note: these prices may fluctuate depending on the clients needs. Active Duty Military discounts are available. We must confirm your military status prior to signing our Terms of Agreement.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

1) A phone conference is a must. Introductions are very important and we want to gain your trust. Then we'll set a 'consultation' over tea/coffee. It's our treat, by the way! 2) We'll take everything you asked for and prep for the big day! An audio file will be put together and we'll then share the list with you for confirmation. Attention to detail is the key. 3) Execute our game plan and blow you and your friends/family away with our performance!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We are trained sound engineers. We are not some amateur that bought equipment and plays music. Tim is also a professional voice talent, trained in recording/editing/producing podcasts as well as voice overs. That's why Tru Masters uses an EQ board for maximum sound quality! You'll definitely hear the difference, from both MC and DJ!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Tru Masters all began with providing DJ services for a local HS in Winston Salem. Five years later, we started advertising on Thumbtack and taking reservations from folks who have heard about our style!

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have worked with: WSFCS, WSTA, Bermuda Run, Windmock, Red Peg, Lidl, NEDA (National Eating Disorder Association), Rotary Clubs and more! From proms to weddings, to festivals and corporate events. Tru Masters has experience that is reputable and trustworthy!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

DO YOUR HOMEWORK! Call and have a conversation with whoever you are interested in. Trust your gut....that's how confident we are about what we provide.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Attention to detail; think about how many folks you'll be entertaining. Also, be sure that the DJ you hire, can provide the type of sound you need. We always bring more than necessary, because being unprepared is NOT an option!
