What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

$600 minimum standard fee. This rate applies to all inquiries regardless of duration of play. Added time is an option at my hourly rate and can be worked out between myself and the client on a case by case basis.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Introductions. Open dialogue with potential client regarding the following subjects in this order: Details about their event. Location, event type, duration of play, vibe/energy they are looking for, age range of expectant guests. Price/Payment method expectations for them and what they can expect from me. Show offerings & structure.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Experience is my greatest asset. I have 11 years in this business. This experience includes regional tours throughout the midwest, dozens of contracts with Carnival Cruise Line and over 1,400 paid shows as a guitar vocalist.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I auditioned in Nashville, TN for the position of soloist with Carnival Cruise Line. As a result, I was offered the position in 2016 with the "Carnival Ecstasy." I continued that job for four years signing two dozen contracts on 15 ships from Puerto Rico to Australia, and up to Alaska.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I Co-founded a Songwriter collective called "Keep It Original Events." We launched our Songwriter Round on August 19th, 2023. It was an incredible night for the songwriters and the crowd. I think the event offers a unique listening experience for the listeners and a rare opportunity for up and coming songwriters to share their music with a listening audience. The event planning process required 10 minutes of work daily for six weeks.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Be prepared. I am happy to lead a potential client through the process. However, working with a client that has a clear understanding of what they want and what the venue space can provide is refreshing and vital to a successful exchange.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What kind of budget can I afford? What venue space will accommodate the needs of both parties? What kind of musical act would best suit the event?
