What I enjoy most about playing in weddings is just being a part of someone's special day. Performing is what I've been doing since I was 9. It continues to bring me joy and I love adding that extra touch of elegance to an event. You should hire us because we are professional and committed to providing a memorable experience. We will walk you through each step of the music selection process and will arrange most songs at your request! **Note** The base price includes the price for Solo Violin - traditional wedding/pop. in CHARLOTTE area only. The prices go up after that for Hip Hop Violin, duos, trio, quartet, etc. Travel fees may apply if the client's event is not based in Charlotte or surrounding areas.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our pricing is very competitive with other wedding music professionals. It is fair and there are never any hidden fees. We may charge for travel and song arrangements that are not on our repertoire. We offer discounts for select wedding planners. Tell us who yours is and you may receive a discount!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

If they are hiring my trio, I send them a contract for them to read and sign.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I️ am a graduate of Furman University with a B.M. In Music Education.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started my trio in college with some of my best friends. We decided that we wanted to perform regularly so we started Upstate Strings Trio.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We work with ALL types of customers! :)

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure your vendor is insured. Many venues require vendors to provide a Certificate of Insurance. Upstate Strings, LLC is licensed and insured! Make sure you ask for samples of their work. There are unfortunately vendors in our line of business who are either not trained enough or have stolen work. Check their reviews as well!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

It is important to make sure the group is a good fit for the type of music you want. Not everyone can play modern covers and make it sound good! If you are looking for R&B, hip hop, jazz, pop, etc. make sure you hear the samples to ensure the group can play the type of music you are wanting and are a good fit!
