Introduction

As far back as I can remember, I have always enjoyed being in front of the piano trying to make it sing. I was inspired to do so by the talent of my mother and older brother. After giving my family members one too many headaches when I was much younger, I was given the opportunity to take piano lessons in order to refine my technique. Through the course of the years, I developed an eclectic approach to my music. My attitude has been if I enjoy playing it, I will play it regardless of the genre. I would like to think the result has been a wide scope of music that appeals to a broader audience. I look forward to performing at your functions. Thank-you in advance for the opportunity. What I enjoy about my work is the opportunity it gives me to do something that I appreciate doing, as well as learning songs that I would otherwise not have heard or played.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My rates are negotiable.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to exchange emails and phone numbers in order to have good communication with my clients.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I was trained as a classical pianist that enabled my being able to develop a 'Romantic' style technique.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have always enjoyed playing the piano for my family, and with their encouragement, I branched out to performing in public.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with companies, profit and non-profit, as well as individuals.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I was contracted to perform at a community Christmas party at my client's residence. The songs that were to be performed that evening were a mixture of holiday and non-holiday music. During the course of the evening, guests at the party periodically made requests for songs that were in my repertoire, and they also took time to say hello to me. I was asked to stay longer to play more music, which I was glad to do, and I felt very welcome at that project. I look back at that opportunity to perform with great fondness.

Very simply put, determine what is desired in the project.
