Introduction

"The musician that makes your party the one your guests will rave about." I didn't come up with that. It's what clients tell me 99% of the time! PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING ME 👉 My minimum fee is $2,000 for a solo performance (within 30 miles of 19355). If your budget matches, I would love to put a custom quote together for your special event. Thanks 😀👌🙏 Whether it's playing solo acoustic, with a full band or anywhere in between, I've been performing cover and original songs for over 20 years. My repertoire spans from 1960s through the present, ranging from Adele to Zeppelin. (Ask for my song list!) From a singing cowboy in a Febreze commercial to backing Adam Levine and Blake Shelton in The Voice, Season 14 “Porch Commercial” which debuted on Super Bowl LLI, my voice has been featured in numerous regional and national ad campaigns. I perform over 100 private events per year. So I'm great with a wide age range, special requests and can assist with event planning. I would love to provide price quotes tiered for up to a 7 piece band. That way you can find the perfect balance for your budget and music entertainment needs.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My minimum fee is $2,000. Typically I can perform solo for up to 3 hours for that price. Because every project is different, I'm happy to provide custom price quotes tiered for up to a 7 piece band. That way you can find the perfect balance for your budget and music entertainment needs.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Typically the customer will email me to start the conversation. We'll then schedule a quick call to go over specifics. From there, I will issue a contract and take a 50% deposit to hold the date. Any questions and follow up calls are welcomed once the date is confirmed. The balance is due on the day of the performance.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have "Street MBA" as I call it. In other words, I learned by doing. My education is real-world experience performing well over 2,000 shows in 20 years.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started performing solo and in bands while I attended Penn State University. It was really exciting for me when I was able to quit my job at school because I was making enough money as a musician to cover my expenses. I graduated with a BS in Psychology but have pursued a career in music ever since.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Typically there are 3 types of clients I work with. - Wedding couples that want music for ceremony, cocktail hour and/or reception. I perform solo and with up to a 7 piece band. - Corporate event planners that need music entertainment for their specific events and parties. - Private party clients. These are typically celebrations like graduations, milestone birthday parties or just an excuse to get together with friends. Usually, I will perform in the client's home. Sometimes the client will rent a venue for the party. I'm open to whatever the client decides.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I don't take bookings more than 6 months in advance. A lot of my bookings are done within 3 months to 1 week prior to an event. My favorite recent booking was a small wedding I performed at a restaurant. I provided live music for the ceremony and post dinner. I provided DJ and MC services during cocktail hour and dinner.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Since I perform private events on a weekly basis, I can offer my advice on anything from flow of events, length of performance and song selection.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
The client should know their budget and confirm the venue where the event will take place before contacting me. I'm flexible, but these details help move the booking process along faster.
