Introduction

I am a professional magician in Long Island who is available for almost any type of venue. I offer my services for birthday parties, communions, sweet sixteens, graduations, bar and bat mitzvahs, corporate parties, weddings, school shows, and anything in between. Discounted rates for Virtual Shows What goes into my pricing is primarily commute, time needed, technical requirements, and additional add-ons. Discounts are available if you make my life easier (for example if you can get me a good parking space)

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

During one show the audience coaxed a particularly shy child to go up on stage with me as he was a fan of magic. I don't like to pull shy children out from the audience because being on stage with someone who to them is a celebrity can be overwhelming for them and stop a show cold. I knew I had to be gentle with him so I grabbed an effect I was saving for later in the show and performed it with him. I crouched down to his level and had him appear to vanish a handkerchief from my hand and reappear in my mouth. He was absolutely delighted and he took a big round of applause. It was a great time. Also we were both named "Alex" so he became my little "mini-me" for that effect.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Do not be afraid to ask questions and provide as much information about your entertainment needs and logistical concerns as possible. This is best the only way to make sure you get the best entertainment experience as possible.
