What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Ranges from $600 - $1500+ depending on band size, number of hours, and location.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I typically discuss the size of the group you want, location, the kind of music you would like to have played, special requests, attire, answer any additional questions. I will visit the venue prior to our event. I will send you a contract and discuss the terms so that we are in agreement. Lastly we will arrange for payment.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We are all trained in Music Theory. Some are classically trained.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Most of us got started at a very young age and have been performing professionally for 35+ years. You are getting seasoned musicians.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Our customers have been from varied backgrounds. We've performed at backyard parties, weddings, country clubs, large festivals, fundraising events, cocktail hours, dinner sets. You name it we've done it.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Our favorite events are private parties and weddings. Everyone comes to dance.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look for bands that can give you a variety of music. Many people at your event will have a wide taste in music.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Think about the type of music you like to hear and if you want a mix of slow and fast songs.
