I’ve been performing cover and original songs for almost 20 years. My repertoire spans from 1960’s through present, ranging from Ed Sheeran to The Temptations. ( Ask for my song list !) From singing and playing in a regional Pizza commercial with band mates to singing on a syndicated “Songs at the center” television show. My voice has been featured in numerous regional to national television, radio broadcast and live show adventures. (Like singing in front of 3000+ in Las Vegas at the Sands)

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My minimum fee is $500. Typically I can perform solo for up to 3 hours for that price. Because every project is different. I’m happy to provide custom price quotes for up to a 7 piece band. That way you can find the perfect balance for your budget and music entertainment needs.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Typically the customer will email me to start the conversation. We’ll then schedule a quick call to go over specifics. From there, I will issue a contract and take a 50% deposit to hold the date. Any questions and follow up calls are welcomed once the date is confirmed. The balance is due on the day of the performance.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

In addition to attending a performing arts school in Cleveland, private lessons, studying music at Columbus state, and working in limited fashion with some of The Ohio State university’s music programs. I have a “Street MBA” as some call it. In other words, I’ve learned by doing. My post school education is real- world experience performing well over 2000 shows in 20ish years.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started performing solo and with various bands at an early age inspired by my relatives friends who’d done it. From churches, to restaurants , to private parties, traditional venues and festivals. Really in the early years. Any where I could be heard as I was developing my skills. After school I’d play all over Ohio and eventually a great amount of the US.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Typically there are 3 types of clients I work with -Wedding couples that want music for Ceremony, Cocktail hour and/ or reception. I perform solo and with up to a 7 piece band. -Corparate event planners that need music entertainment for their specific events and parties - Private part clients. These are typically celebrations like graduations, milestones birthday parties or just an excuse to get together with friends. Usually , I will perform at the client’s choice of rented venue. I’m open to where ever there's space to be Covid safe.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I don’t take bookings more than 10 months in advance. A lot of my bookings are done within 3 months to 2 weeks prior to an event. My favorite recent booking was a small wedding I performed at a restaurant. I provided live music for the reception as three piece band. I provided dj and MC services during cocktail hour and dinner.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Since I perform private events on a weekly basis , I can offer my advice on anything from flow of events, length of performance and song selection.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

The client should know their budget and confirm the venue where the event will take place before contacting me. I’m flexible but these details help move the booking process along faster.
