Introduction

This isn’t background music—it’s the heartbeat of your event. I bring connection, rich harmonies, and a genre-blending sound that lifts the room and meets the moment. Whether solo or with my full band, every performance is crafted to move your guests and leave a lasting impression. With a hauntingly beautiful voice and a presence that draws people in, I blend folk, pop, country, and contemporary styles into performances that feel both personal and unforgettable. From private retreats to the Lincoln Center stage and a feature in Lancaster County Magazine, I’ve spent over 30 years creating music that connects—and clients trust me to deliver experiences that matter. Whether it’s a wedding, corporate gathering, or private party, my team and I create more than a soundtrack—we create an experience your guests will remember. What I Offer: 30+ years of live performance experience Available as a soloist, duo, or full band (up to 10 pieces) Repertoire from the 1960s to today, plus classical training Custom songs, special requests, and curated setlists Wedding packages for ceremony, cocktail hour, and/or reception Optional help with event flow and planning support PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING: My minimum fee is $1400 for a duo performance. Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My minimum fee is $1200 for a solo performance. Typically I can perform up to 3 hours for that price. Because every project is different, I'm happy to provide custom price quotes tiered for up to a 10 piece band. I also offer "packages" for weddings that include ceremony and cocktail hour, and/or the reception. This way you can find the perfect balance for your budget and music entertainment needs.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Typically the customer will email me to start the conversation. We'll then schedule a quick call to go over specifics. From there, I will issue a contract and take a 50% deposit to hold the date. Any questions and follow up calls are welcomed once the date is confirmed. The balance is due on the day of the performance.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I am a classically trained pianist and singer. I have 2 music degrees (Bachelor of Music: Vocal performance, Master of Music: Choral Conducting). I am a self-taught guitar player, and have experience on many other instruments as well. My education is what first gave me the opportunities to be on a stage performing in front of others. I now perform regularly as a soloist/duo/trio/band at over 50 events a year.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started performing in front of people at a very young age, and have had a broad range of experiences over the years. I decided several years ago to pick up the guitar and start singing in front of people again - in a very different way. I've met some wonderful musicians along the way who now perform as part of my band.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Typically there are 3 types of clients I work with. - Wedding couples that want music for ceremony, cocktail hour and/or reception. I perform solo and with up to a 6 piece band. - Corporate event planners that need music entertainment for their specific events and parties. - Private party clients. These are typically celebrations like graduations, milestone birthday parties or just an excuse to get together with friends. Usually, I will perform in the client's home. Sometimes the client will rent a venue for the party. I'm open to whatever the client decides.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I don't take bookings more than 6 months in advance. A lot of my bookings are done within 3 months to 1 week prior to an event. My two favorite bookings: 1) a private party the band played for a fundraiser. This was our 3rd consecutive year playing this party, and it's so fun to know the guests are actually asking for us each year and we always have a great time! 2) I was hired to play at a corporate retreat for a small group of writers/creators (written word). It was at a small beach house in CT and it was intimate and wonderful!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Since I perform private events on a weekly basis, I can offer my advice on anything from flow of events, length of performance and song selection.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
The client should know their budget and confirm the venue where the event will take place before contacting me. I'm flexible, but these details help move the booking process along faster.
