I learn about what type of event they are having, and we talk about what kind of music they are looking to have and/or would be a good fit for the audience.

I have been working as a professional musician for 20+years.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I first started gigging when I was 20 years old as a bassist.

Customers of all ages and backgrounds in all types of venues.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently played at a private party for about 75 guests. I played 3 45min sets and provided music in between throughout my PA system and everyone had a great time!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would suggest having a conversation with them over the phone to see if they were a good fit for your event.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

How long they would like live music to be played. Where they would like the musician to set up their equipment. Any specific songs or style of music they would like to hear.
