Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Private event and wedding pricing starts around $450 for a solo instrumental performance.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Typically a customer comes to me for their wedding or private event music. For weddings, clients request the songs they would like for their processional (usually 2, one for the bridal party and one for the bride) and recessional. I then work out arrangements of those songs. If asked I also perform music as a prelude. I can also perform for cocktail hour. Performances can be solo guitar or solo guitar with vocals. I also work with multiple violin players and can perform as a duo.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have been a professional musician for over a decade, performing for weddings, restaurants, and events. I've performed for weddings at some of New England's most popular wedding locations.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Communication is key for me! The more details I have beforehand, the smoother things run on your special day. I want to help accommodate as many of your musical requests as I can, so be sure to let me know exactly what you're looking for.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
The biggest thing people forget when working with live musicians is power! I can provide high quality sound for your ceremony both with and without electricity. I carry amplifiers and wireless microphones (for your officiant) that require either an electrical outlet, or work using a battery. The battery option is great for more remote/outdoor ceremonies and events.
