What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing is always going to depend on the event, how long you need us and what is requested. Minimum is $395. Most are between $750 - $1350

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I will always respond with the price based on the inquiry and follow up with a text. When the customer lets me know they would like to discuss the upcoming event and possibly book my services, I like to set up a phone conversation and go over the event and what is expected of us. Then go from there.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Night club DJ, & Entertainer 1996 to 2008. Mobile DJ, Musician, Entertainer 1996-Current Lead Vocalist " Fabulous Nomads" 2017 to 2018 Lead Vocalist " The O'Kaysions " 2018 to 2022

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Started helping a DJ at an upscale hotel lounge. The manager hired me to split the nights with the DJ I was helping. We were required to sing, entertain, DJ and MC 6 nights a week.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Everyone that I have worked for through Thumbtack have been wonderful! One weekend was a 90th birthday party. Next weekend was a sweet 16! There have been such a variety of people with different entertainment requirements that I believe we can cater to anyone.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

50 year wedding anniversary. This was the first time in two years that most of the people at this event had been out since Covid. You would have thought this was the actual wedding party!!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Talk to a few professionals in your area. Pick the one that you feel most comfortable with. I've seen many people make their selection based on price or reputation and not be happy with the DJ or the performance.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Pricing, location of event, in or outdoor event, time frame, deposit or contract required, can the sound system handle the venue.
