I always try to work within the customer's budget when I can! Let me know your budget and we can discuss how I can best meet your needs.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to learn about what the customer envisions for the performance. From there, I can give an accurate quote and make recommendations. Then, once the customer submits a deposit, the date is locked in and we can hash out the specific details for the event.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I've spent over a decade as a professional musician working in all sorts of settings, from weddings, corporate events, lounges, and more. I have a Bachelor's of Music degree from the College of the Holy Cross and also studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I've been in love with music since I was gifted my first guitar in 5th grade. Since then, I've been honing my skills. I played in a wedding band all through college and have spent the years since then growing my music business, eventually moving to Nashville, TN where I now work full time as a musician.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with all sorts of different customers! I love helping wedding clients, corporate customers, restaurant/bar owners, and more. I have even performed as a surprise for anniversaries and marriage proposals. The best part of being a musician is meeting new clients and learning their stories.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently performed for a corporate event in downtown Nashville. I began working with the client a month or so before the event. We discussed the set length and other details. Once I understood the scope of the event, I quoted her a price which she accepted. She submitted her deposit and we locked in the date. From there, we kept in touch with details such as parking. The day of, I arrived an hour prior to the performance start time to set up, performed a mix of original and covers (per the client's request), and then quickly packed my gear and was on my way.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My advice would be to establish a budget for entertainment and include that in your request. Also, including details about the event, such as venue and event type help the artist know what music would be appropriate. The more details, the better!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I encourage customers to reach out as soon as they decide they want live entertainment for their event. It is important to get the date locked in early. Once that is done, rest assured that it is an open conversation—I love helping clients craft their event by answering their questions, no matter how many questions they may have. Don't worry about not having all the answers right away, I'm here to help—it's just up to you to get the ball rolling!
