Introduction

Our act performs approx. 220 times a year. Around 175 of those are weddings and rehearsal dinners, but we also specialize in private parties and corporate events. Each musician employed by the Bonfire Orchestra for band performances has more than 10 years of experience, and each is a multi-instrumentalist. For DJ performances, one of our experienced DJ's will be provided. The DJ will be available to MC, but the microphone can also be available for any announcements, toasts, etc... When booked, the band or DJ will happily accommodate the specific genre and performer requests of the clients. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our pricing varies somewhat in regard to the distance necessary to travel and the precise needs of the client.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We try our best to meet the customer in the most convenient way possible, whether by email, phone, text, or even in person. This initial conversation helps to establish how we can most completely meet the needs of our client.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Between our core musicians we have more than 75 years of experience and training including musical degrees and extensive work in the recording, production, and performing branches of the industry.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

We have been extremely fortunate to be able to follow our dreams all the way to those dreams becoming a viable career. We've also been extremely lucky that so many have trusted us to bring an energetic atmosphere to some of their most special days.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have played events ranging in attendance from 30,000 or more to small, intimate engagements, from college campuses to weddings, and from large festivals to all sorts of special events and parties. We specialize in the 18-56 demographic, but we've played for virtually all sorts of people from every walk of life.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We've been able to work so closely with some brides as to provide the entertainment, not only for their wedding reception, but also the wedding ceremony. And in a couple of cases to play those same couples' anniversaries years later :)

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Explore all the options available and find the provider who seems most in line with your visualizations of that event. Planning parties and weddings and so on can be somewhat stressful; we make it our absolute commitment to be the least stressful aspect.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

It is helpful to make a few decisions about the price range you'd like to stay within and to decide exactly what sort of atmosphere and content you'd be most pleased with.
