Introduction

Kelany & the All-Nighters specialize in a variety of genres ranging from top 40s pop, 70s, 80s and 90s hits, to classic rock, atlernative rock, and country across the decades. As a versatile group, the All-Nighters can come as a solo acoustic act for a more intimate experience or up to a full 5-piece band for larger and livelier events. The All-Nighters enjoy working with our clients to create customized set lists for each event to make the music unique to your vision, and for some events we will take song requests from the crowd so that the audience is as much a part of the show as we are! We aim for ease, efficiency, and fun. Let's chat!

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
All pricing is negotiable. I try to charge a regular hourly rate (though the rate will vary depending on if you want a solo acoustic show or a full band) so things are easy to estimate, and I do not charge for set up and breakdown time. There is a travel fee only for places further than 50 miles away.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I like to get all the basic details of the event, such as time, place, size, and occassion. I also try to make sure that I will be a good fit for my clients' events. I will not take a gig if I do not feel I can confidently satisfy my client's wishes. My goal is to add to your event and make it extra special, so whether my client is new or regular, I will communicate regularly and work closely with you so things are clear and easy.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I began piano lessons when I was young, and while guitar is now my main instrument, my background in piano has allowed me to develop a strong musical ear that has developed for almost two decades.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I got started as a solo artist playing at Farmer's Markets in 2017. In 2018, I established my band and played at our first wedding at Rancho Mirando in Fischer, Texas. From there on, I continued freelance music work and have sung on the radio, at festivals, weddings, memorial services, and many private events, both with my band and solo depending on the needs of my client. I'm passionate about performing and connecting with people, and I've found that being a musician has fulfilled me like nothing else has.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have had customers who have hired me for small private events of only 4-6 people, and I have also been hired to play at an amusement park for hundreds. My clients have come from all backgrounds with all types of budgets. I am happy to travel within reasonable distances, and always happy to work with pricing in order to make your event everything you imagine it can be!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
A recent gig I had was for a surprise party for a client's girlfriend. Because his girlfriend's birthday fell so close to Christmas, she grew up with her birthday being largely ignored, so he wanted to make her day extra special. He hired me to play acoustic guitar and sing, and I connected him with a videographer and private chef. The whole evening lasted a few hours, and it was a beautiful and intimate experience for everyone involved. He and his girlfriend sat by a fire outside with her daughter with them, and listened to music and ate delicious foods. To date it is one of my favorite private events to have been a part of because of how much it meant to them.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Do not be afraid to ask as many questions as needed. It is important that pro informs you with everything they may need from you prior to your event, and that your pro is a good fit for your venue, your desires, and the occassion. We are here to be the highlight of your day and night!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
"Is the event dependent on weather?" "What kind of music genre would best fit this event?" "How big of a sound would be most appropriate for the space where my event will be held?"
