Introduction

Fill your festival, weddings, garden party, clubs, award ceremonies, wineries and events with original music. I specialize in modern jazz guitar arrangements of popular songs from all genres including rock, blues, soul, jazz etc. I add vocals when playing solo guitar. Generally our collective ensemble for a trio would include Drums and Bass. For a duo I will work with a bass or another guitar player. The type of repertoire we provide will depends on the event. What we try to provide is unique, appropriate and entertaining music for all audiences. I am grateful for every opportunity and try to have as much fun as possible in every situation. I have had many experiences in the performing arts starting at an early age and luckily that has continued into my adult life with guitar.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Price depends on the kind of venue and the details of the event. The price per hour of $100.00 is for solo guitar, prices will increase depending on the number of individuals in the ensemble and the number of hours we will be performing. The minimum is $150 except specific circumstances. The maximum time for a show right now is 3 hours due to the price points on Thumbtack and also over saturation after three hours.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Typically I book through the website and then via email or phone. I have an option available to use paypal or I can work out details as needed.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

private teachers and can provide references upon request. I started my own guitar duo after graduating from college with my once teacher and began my professional career at 20. I have played in many venues and clubs over the years and always stay active performing professionally since the early 1990's. I have played extensively at famous spots like Mona's and the scarlet tree in Seattle where I held down a weekly show for numerous years. Also I have played extensively in Washington DC at Rumeros and Rumba club for many years. *References are available upon request.

What types of customers have you worked with?

All kinds. I have played for Jason Alexander, Neil Simon, Paul Riser and a host of other celebrities in Washington DC while performing at several Kennedy Center private events. I have also played for random garden parties. I enjoy each occasion as a gift and opportunity to perform music and to provide a unique service.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Right now I am working on a project that mixes world music with rock and Jazz. It is a lot of fun and the group is rehearsing and performing regularly.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Performing is my art form and I have a great passion to play music. I have been working recently with producing and recording my original compositions a lot.
