SLAVE has performed at many venues across the globe, and locally. Venues across America such as Dane Dance in Madison WI, Kentucky County Fair, The Horseshoe Casino in Hammond and The Hard Rock Casino in Indiana, Arcada Theater, Washington Park, Festival of Life, The Yellow Box, and many other national venues. We can work very well with sound engineers in that we provide a professional stage plot easily readable for your stage crew. We have a dedicated person to work with your team so as to have a premium sound. If needed, we can bring our concert mixing system on wheels to plug directly into your system to minimize the time for soundcheck and provide a good starting point for your sound engineer. Please rest assure we are a team player and would do everything to help make your event a total success. And, we will guarantee a professional experience for your fans. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

From start to finish we work with our customers. We treat our customers as our employer. As such, we believe it is our duty to be prompt to events and give our very best show to our customers.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Our musicians are music majors. Our vocalist are trained in vocals by national renowned vocalist.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

All of our musicians and artist have been singing and playing music since grammar school. Most have performed in churches locally.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Many of our customers hire our Band and DJ services for weddings, birthday parties, anniversary parties, reunions, retirement parties, senior parties, and corporate events. Weddings and Birthday parties seems to be the most common bookings. We specialize in providing our clients with a unique experience designed especially for their event. Some clients request a mixture of DJ services and live entertainment, such as vocalist a song unique to the occasision. Some clients want a lighted dance floor with disco lights or scrobe lights. We have also used fog machines, especially with our addation of a Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Prince and Beyonce impersonators. These are some of the things that makes our services stand out among other DJ and live entertainment booking services.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We are proud that we have been chosen to play at the Chicago Music Awards in Chicago. This honor is given to a very select few of entertainers.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The number one thing we suggest you consider when searching for a Band or DJ service is to consider the music being played by the Band or DJ. If the music is not in the genre you need then most likey you will not be satisfied with the services needed. Number two is make sure the DJ service has the proper equiptment needed for the size of your engagement. A seasoned, professional DJ normally has various sizes of sound equiptment for various types of events. For example, a house party would use a sound system much smaller than a large corporate event or an outside stadium. Be sure to tell your DJ provider the number of people expected to be at your event and the size of the event. Number three to consider is how long has the DJ service been in business. A good service sould have at least three years experience. Number four to consider is the distance. Look for a DJ with a reasonable distance from your engagement, unless you are willing to pay extra for travel. Within 50 miles is a good starting point. Number five - make sure your DJ is made aware of additional requirements needed to make your event succesful (wireless microphone, songlist, lights, etc.) Feel free to contact us if you have additional questions or need additional information to help make your event a success.

Before choosing a professional band please look at the bands live video to see first hand how the band performs live. Also, ask the band where are they performing so you can see a live event. Then make your choice.
