Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We are competitively priced relative to the local area and industry as a whole nationally. We happily offer realtor, builder, Veteran and repeat customer discounts! We provide free in-person assessments within the greater Denver area and along the Northern I-25 corridor. Mountain and Plains communities will require a small trip charge if an in-person assessment is necessary which will be credited back should you choose our services. Standard sub-slab radon reduction systems where a sump pit can be retrofitted start at $1.2k with more complex systems that require more powerful fans and multiple suction points to achieve the lowest radon levels possible ranging upward to $1.8k+. Total crawlspace encapsulation and sub-membrane radon reduction systems typically start at $1.5k depending on the size of the crawlspace. All of our systems come with a post-mitigation measurement included per AARST standards!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We will discuss your requirements over the phone and schedule a convenient date and time to visit the property to do a full walk through (if necessary) and design the system with the property owner's or builder's input. We will be able to discuss any preferences and any (observable) challenges up front and how that may change the scope of work and pricing. We promise to be as upfront and transparent from the beginning which will be reflected in our follow up quote on the day of the assessment.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Our team is fully certified through NRPP and licensed for radon measurement and mitigation through DORA. We are proud members of AARST and work to the highest national standards set by them.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Our family has been involved with radon mitigation and testing since the early 90s! We were some of the first pioneers in the industry in the state.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Realtors, concerned homeowners, property investors, general contractors and large building companies.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Ask yourself the following: -Are they certified and licensed? -When was their testing equipment last re-calibrated? -Are their prices too good to be true (because they will probably increase as the project goes on)? -Are they willing to come assess the project in person? -Will they be conducting a post-mitigation measurement after the system is up and running to ensure the levels are as low as they can be?

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
