I'm $90 an hour, plus the price of Materials.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I'll message the customer first via Thumbtack. If they respond, I'll proceed with calling to discuss the project or issue. From there we will discuss pricing and availability.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

The right opportunity came along. I didn't know if I'd like Plumbing, but have grown to enjoy all the different aspects that are included in Plumbing. I started my own business in January of this year, 2022. My main work is Commercial Backflow Testing, Installs, and Repairs.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I just installed Water Treatment Equipment for a customer. They wanted a new Fiberglass Pump Tank with Stainless Steel Fittings, 100 Micron Spin Down Filter, Water Softener, Water Neutralizer, 5 Micron Filter, and a UV Filter. All of the equipment was piped in with 1'' PVC. It took two days for everything to be installed.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask questions, there are never any bad questions. Be thorough in your search and ask for recommendations.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What's a realistic time frame to get there and complete the work. Think through all the details and if other contractors will need to be involved.
