Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I am Not the CHEAPEST but I AM the most Competitive with my prices. I offer discounts for Military, Senior Citizens and Single Parents.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
After our initial discussion, which typically can last 15-20 min so I can make sure I've answered all your questions, I email the inspection agreement for review and signature. once I've received that I confirm our appointment with you and your agent. the day of your inspection I reach out to you and your agent to confirm my arrival time and make sure I have all access information. once inspection is complete I give a Summary of my findings and share the photos I have taken. if the clients or the clients agent can't be at the property at the time of the inspection I send a summary text. once I return to my office I prepared a FULL, DETAILED report with typically 75-130 pictures. which I send to my clients and their agent on the DAY I complete the Home Inspection. After 48hrs I reach out to both my Client and the Agent to ask of there's any follow up questions I can answer.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I am WDO CERTIFIED and Licensed, Certified and Fully Insured. I have spent over 20+ yrs inspecting houses throughout the ENTIRE STATE OF GA.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Started off doing Termite Inspections 22 yrs ago. working with Multiple Home Inspectors who kept recommending me to add Home Inspections to my Skill Set and talking with Client after Client who lamented not being able to deal with just 1 person, make 1 appointment to get it all done it was a natural progression to add Home Inspections to my Service Package.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with the full spectrum of customers. 1st time home buyers, senior citizens selling homes they built and lived in for 30+ yrs, Customers from every cultural and economic background, lower middle class to multi millionaires, new parents looking for a Home to start a family, young singles stepping out into the world on their own for the 1st time away from the security of living with the parents, recent immigrants taking their next step in enjoying the benefits of living the American Dream.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
young lady who's working her way through medical school, married with kids, moved to America 9 yrs ago. always rented, buying a home for the 1st time. the NERVOUS excitement in her eyes, in each conversation. she was buying a brand new townhome. we met 3 different occasions to inspect the home. after her final walk through the morning of her closing when I was able to inform her that all issues had been corrected and she was good to close the tears and complete joy in her eyes is one of the experiences I treasure the MOST about what I do. the emotions she showed to her Agent and I is why I love what I do everyday. Took 3 visits over 4 months but it was well worth it

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Reviews are Critical. Ask Questions About Their Background. Don't base your Choice primarily on Price. Cheapest can equal the poorest quality sometimes.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
make sure the inspector is Licensed and Insured. Preferably $1mil policy that includes E&O
