What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

At Ecofriendly USA Pest Control, the first thing we try to do is to identify the pest either by pictures, videos, or when the technician arrives at the site by doing an inspection. We always answer questions. Our trained technicians always inform the customer of the entire process before getting started.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

All our technicians are trained or licensed by the Department of Environmental Conservation in New York and New Jersey. We also do yearly training for all technicians to keep up to date with new pesticides and new innovations.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Personally, as the CEO of the company, it was a passionate thing for me. Getting rid of pests. It makes me feel happy that am able to help. I had studied over 100 pests.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We work with new customers because they always ask for few questions. New customer needs most likely involve looking for guidance through an issue that technicians might find simplistic. A few times, we had encountered angry customers whether they are just having a bad day or have encountered the same issue one too many times, we have to deal with some customers that aren’t being very friendly. We believe that the customers are always right. We do have a lot of loyal customers that referred and shared our flyers. They turned out to be organic marketers for us.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

When we handle rodent service calls, it's always fun to educate and explain how rodents behave, and what it takes to properly treat them. We recently eliminated mice in 3 family houses with large infestations. We are pleased to see our customers happy and pest free. There was another satisfied customer of ours that had many pest problems like carpenter ants, mice and German roaches around the kitchen area and millipedes in the basement. We were able to eliminate the problems. These jobs give us satisfaction because they improve the quality of time a family spends in and around their home.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

We would strongly recommend a small family-owned pest control service where the owners have their feet on the ground and are involved in daily service calls. These companies will treat you like family and truly care about your home. With larger companies you risk having technicians service your home that are rushing due to a high number of daily services on their schedule, and who also have little training or experience. If you choose not to hire us, please hire another small family-owned company. You will be in much better hands.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Safety for you, your pets, your family and the environment. 1. Is the technician well-trained and licensed? 2. Does the company use safe pesticides? 3. Does the company have general liability insurance? 4. Have they treated similar pests in the past? 5. How long have you been in business?
