I charge a flat rate by the square footage of home.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

First I ask questions specific to property, then I explain how the home inspection process works, what I am going to look for and what I am going to inspect. Answer any additional questions they may have.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Certified through Homespection training institute in home inspections and Ohio department of health in Mold testing. State of Ohio Radon tester, Veterans Administration Specially adaptive housing inspector (SAH). Many certification through InterNACHI, which can be seen on my website.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Started working as an industrial maintenance technician, then wanted to work in residential.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Real estate brokers, realtors, banks, title companies, first time home buyers, condominium owners, and commercial owners.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Recently inspected a lake home, that has some cool features that you don't see everyday. The home was 90 percent completed, which took me 4 hours to inspect, due to the home still needing a few finishing touches, such as, lighting, electrical outlets, deck, plumbing, fixtures, etc....

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask questions about what they inspect, how long it will take, do they recommend that client is at inspection, do they provide a digital report.
