Hi! I’m Edwin, an experienced and patient tutor passionate about helping students reach their goals. I work with learners of all ages—whether it’s mastering math, improving in school subjects, or preparing for the SAT. I also have extensive experience teaching English to adult learners from around the world, and I love seeing my students grow in confidence and ability. I am a former high school teacher and department chair. I am a published author, historian, Language Arts & Social Studies teacher, Academic Coach, and entrepreneur, having built several successful businesses. I help with the SAT & ACT reading sections prep, essay writing & reading skills, and all Language Arts and Social Studies classes, including AP and IB. I specialize in the verbal section, and I am good at teaching it. If you need SAT Math or other math/science class help, I have a team of experienced tutors who specialize in those subjects.
