What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I charge by truckload.....I use a trailer... truckload is 4x8x1.5. basically a normal 8 foot bed not over rails...trailer fits 6 truckloads..price goes down if you have multiple truckloads...

I ask for a picture and ask details of where and how far I have to go to get to materials.

cleaned out a house lived in for 50 years. after estate sale was over. Owner said they haven't seen upstairs that empty in 20 years

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

How much junk they have and how heavy and hard it is to move? if its construction debris such as drywall ,roofing paper, lathen plaster or linoleum flooring it needs to be checked for asbestos. Dumps won't allow without paperwork.
