****Note**** I live in Los Angeles, CA so if you don’t live there then these lessons will be virtual and NOT in person! I’ve had great success and many students that love doing virtual lessons, so if that’s something you’re interested in if you don’t live in Los Angeles, then feel free to reach out!!
Hey, I’m Rachael! I teach ALL ages and levels of singers in a variety of genres. Beginners are welcome! Looking to hit that difficult high note? To sing that run you heard Beyoncé do that one time? To generally strengthen your voice and feel confident when singing? I got you!
I love working with students to reach their peak potential and to find their own unique “voice”. I believe all individuals are capable of singing and I tailor lessons to each student’s specific needs to help them find their distinctive vocal tone and talents. I also make sure to teach students healthy singing techniques so they can continue to use their voice effectively and emotionally in a sustainable way. Additionally, I play piano and teach it at a beginner level. I am able to accompany students and can teach singers how to accompany themselves on piano if they are interested in that as well (I personally think it's an incredibly useful and helpful skill as a singer).
I offer lessons in person and virtually. I live in the West Los Angeles area and I’m willing to travel to you for an in home lesson if you're in the LA area within about 5 miles, or you are welcome to come to me as well. I also am able to do virtual lessons to those who live further away!
A bit about me - I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from UC Berkeley where I studied Vocal Performance with a Minor in Education. I have been singing, playing piano, and performing for over twenty years and currently I sing, write, perform and release music professionally in addition to privately teaching. I’ve been trained in Classical, Jazz, Musical Theater, R&B and Popular voice. I’ve sang in Pop & R&B bands, Classical/Chamber choirs, and Musical Theater productions. I studied Jazz Vocals at UC Berkeley, along with Music Directing award-winning Pop and R&B A Capella group the California Golden Overtones. After graduating, I’ve professionally released and performed Soulful R&B/Pop music as artist Elizabritz.
I love teaching and sharing my passion for singing, and pride myself on connecting and working with others by creating a positive, fun and productive environment. I hope to hear from you!

RESULTS. I can save you time and money with a technique that is so effective you will see results in minutes, rather than weeks or months. We will not spend multiple lessons just learning how to breath, or running through silly exercises that don't help. At each lesson, a workout program will be customized for the needs of your voice to keep it progressing steadily. Through clear instruction and guidance, students gain control and an understanding of their instrument which lays the foundation for a lifetime of healthy, effective singing!
I love working with voices and being a part of their development. I don't care how good or bad a singer is when they come to me. I get excited when I hear the progress we make at each lesson and as the voice develops over time.
Ask me for a 1/2 price trial lesson! I currently offer both in-person (Solana Beach, California) and online lessons.
