Hi there! I’m Meital - a jazz singer and vocal coach based on the Upper West Side. I’ve spent over a decade helping singers of all levels connect to their voice in a way that feels natural and expressive. I believe singing is one of the most powerful ways we can share who we are. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of guiding more than a hundred students on their own musical journeys—each with their own story, voice, and dream. My goal isn’t just to teach technique, but to help you feel truly at home in your voice. We’ll focus on connecting with your body, caring for your vocal health, and discovering the colors and emotions that make your sound uniquely yours. Whether you're preparing for the stage, exploring a new passion, or returning to music after time away, I’ll be there to support and encourage you every step of the way. We can explore jazz, pop, and musical theatre—whatever moves you. We’ll also work on building a repertoire that feels meaningful to you, and learning how to deliver a song with intention, honesty, and style. I also offer lessons in music theory, ear training, and beginner piano. All sessions take place in my cozy studio, complete with a beautiful grand piano and a welcoming, relaxed vibe. Sing with more freedom and joy! I am a Juilliard-trained singer with 22 years' teaching experience. I've had an international stage career, including the Metropolitan Opera. I offer technical, foundational, and rehabilitational singing instruction, plus career, dramatic, and language coaching. I work both live and virtually. My primary focus is creating a warm and non-judgmental atmosphere for ANYONE to increase their joy and health through singing! NATS, AGMA member.

I teach classical voice technique, specializing in safe and healthy practices to expand vocal range and strengthen chest, mix and head voice. I specifically work with students going through voice changes during age 12 to 18. My lessons are focused on technique and vocal maintenance and coaching for auditions. 30 to 45 training lessons only. The aim is for my students to feel a significant difference in their skills and vocal abilities within the first three lessons. Training lessons exist to give students the tools to develop their voices on their own and are not weekly reptoire building classes. Think of it as a check up at the voice doctor.
