Please note that I am currently only accepting online students who are available on weekday mornings/early afternoon eastern time. I offer world class training to all who are ready to work on their craft. I mold my lessons to fit what each individual student needs at that point in her development. There is always space to experiment, make lots of mistakes, and try something completely new in my studio! My teaching values revolve around creating and nurturing a healthy, efficient singing technique while inspiring an honest emotional expressiveness in performance. Specializing in classical and musical theater styles, I have helped my students succeed in auditioning for local productions, competitions, and collegiate music programs. My students can be seen on stage singing lead roles in school and community productions. I love watching a student discover his or her voice as the learning process develops. It is so rewarding to help them reach that point when they feel connected to their most honest and easy artistic expression. It's so meaningful to give my students the tools to sing freely and sincerely.

Hi there! My name is Madison, and I teach CLASSICAL, Choral, and operatic style singing. Along with my own performance career, I have been in the private music education space since 2018. I utilize my extensive classical vocal education, experience, and passion for teaching to help others develop their own vocal artistry in the classical music and opera space. My anatomical approach to teaching is all about demystifying how your singing instrument works so you can diagnose, self-correct, and improve your singing inside AND outside of our lesson time. I offer lessons and coaching on: - classical vocal technique - audition preparation - foreign language diction - musicality and artistic interpretation - career guidance for young classical singers My past and current students are singing as soloists and choral members in symphony orchestras, church choirs, and on the opera stage. Hello! I am Sonya Belaya, a pianist, singer, improviser, and composer. I am first generation Russian-American. I completed my studies at the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance. I have toured as a keyboardist and singer with Half Waif, have performed on Broadway in the Sufjan Stevens “Illinoise” musical, and am a frequent collaborator to many musical communities in NYC. As a teacher, I’ve worked with students as young as 3 years old and as old as 75 years old! In my 15+ years of teaching, I have decided on the following guidelines. You have the right to expect an excellent standard of teaching from me, including artistic example, responsibility, punctuality, patience, and positive energy. My goal as a teacher is to create an environment in which students can achieve artistic excellence, while developing positive habits and a genuine, life-long appreciation for music. I also focus on body awareness while playing the piano and singing. It is my passion to empower students to find creativity and ownership in music, regardless of experience. In my lessons, I incorporate elements of playing, listening assignments, music theory, composition, and technique in order to develop a well-rounded musician. I also try to ensure that the student is enjoying the process and is creating regular practice habits. Setting these guidelines allows me to do my job as educator and to maintain regularity in my schedule. I customize lessons to complement each individual student’s interests, ability and unique potential. I offer weekly piano lessons in 30, 45, and 60-minute increments. I am available to teach at your home, but will charge an additional transportation fee, depending on your location. I recommend that all beginner students will begin with bi-weekly 30-minute lessons. For intermediate students, I recommend 45 minutes, and one-hour lessons for advanced students. I am located in Brooklyn, and travel to Brooklyn and Manhattan only. Students are welcome to travel to my home in Sunset Park for lessons as well.

Our coaches have trained with world renowned artists. Vocal coaches educated in top schools in Vienna, Madrid and New York with over 15 years of experience. We will assess your voice type and custom tailor lessons using types of songs that work well with your voice. Everyone can be a good singer when voice is trained properly. We offer lessons in both English and Spanish. Ask about our special introductory 30 minute lesson offered at a discounted rate. We offer ONLINE lessons.
