Our coaches have trained with world renowned artists. Vocal coaches educated in top schools in Vienna, Madrid and New York with over 15 years of experience. We will assess your voice type and custom tailor lessons using types of songs that work well with your voice. Everyone can be a good singer when voice is trained properly. I am a passionate instructor with over 10 years experience teaching students aged 2 to 76 years old. I teach all styles, but love focusing on Pop, Jazz, Musical Theatre and Opera. I have a Masters degree in Classical Voice and Opera from The Manhattan School of Music. Outside of teaching, I am a Singer-Songwriter who regularly performs around the city. So I understand not only the joys of performing, but also how intimidating it can be (even for myself after so many years!) My teaching practice is rooted in technique first, but I also believe in the importance of having fun while singing. And I believe confidence comes naturally for the student following this. I love working with students of all ages and abilities. Whether you are embarking on your singing journey as a newcomer, or you are already an experienced performer. I believe we can unleash your talent and confidence that lie deep inside. Students of mine have been accepted into musical programs at Harvard University, Berklee College of Music, Hunter College, The Royal College of Music, The Manhattan School of Music, and many more! I have trained students for performances of all types, and secured lead roles for them in musicals, shows and Disney auditions. Sunburst School of Music has been helping kids and adults get started with music and take their playing to the next level since 2011. Whether your goal is to play in a band, write songs, perform on stage, or just learn your favorites for fun, our patient and experienced instructors will work with you on a course of study to get you where you want to go in the world of music In our studio in the heart of Squirrel Hill we offer lessons for guitar, bass, drums, piano, voice (singing), ukulele and music production as well as group programs and performance opportunities. We have friendly, experienced, patient, qualified and fun instructors for all of our instruments. Our teachers all have either university training or professional performance experience and are here to help you take your playing to the next level. Taking lessons should be fun and all of our instructors love sharing their passion with you and helping you discover yours. We offer a variety of group programming including rock bands, a kids music exploration class, an a capella group and semi private lessons. All students are invited and encouraged to perform in our free seasonal recital concerts. Our studio is open 7 days per week to fit your busy schedule.
