I care deeply about couples not only having a wonderful wedding but that they have a rich lifetime of growing together. I have over 35 years of pastoral experience with many, many weddings as a United Methodist pastor. I have officiated at weddings in multiple states, many churches and outdoor as well as other non-traditional venues. I have been trained in marriage enrichment since 1996 and am certified in giving Prepare-Enrich premarital inventories. It has been my joy to work with couples from many religious and ethnic traditions from across the U.S. and Europe. I will personalize your service and, if desired, offer premarital counseling and a post-wedding follow-up. In addition to officiating, I also sing solos if desired with many years of experience as a soloist, church choir member, and member of classical, folk and show-tune ensembles. I offer an opportunity to celebrate your wedding with meaning, grace and joy while also giving you the option of preparing for you life together in a way that gives you tools for the long haul of your relationship. I have a master of Divinity from Duke University Divinity School and a Doctor of Ministry in Arts and Theology from Wesley Theological Seminary and have been ordained since 1988. I offer discounts to persons who are faithful members of a local church in their community or to persons in Edgecombe County who are actively looking for a church home. I also offer travel/honeymoon planning as one of my marriage enrichment modules.
