Whether you're planning a formal church wedding or an uber casual ceremony in a back yard (and everything in between), I'm your guy! I am recognized by the State of Texas - as well as any other state in the Union - as an authorized wedding officiant and am glad to offer my expertise and services for your occasion. As an ordained Christian minister I have been performing weddings in all kinds of settings and for all types of couples for over 20 years. Although I specialize in Christian ceremonies, I am also able, if needed, to handle Courthouse style - just the vows, please - weddings.
Please contact me if you need to know anything more specific. I'm full of all kinds of answers!

Happy Wedding Day!
Hi, my name is Jay Dorfman. First, let me congratulate you on your special day. Please keep in mind that each pro is paying for your lead, and all I ask is that you reply.
I am a licensed, non-denomination wedding minister/officiant in Texas. I cover the Dallas, Ft. Worth, and the surrounding areas. You might ask why I chose to do this, and my answer is, I just love being able to share with couples one of the most important and happiest days of their lives. I originally got ordained and licensed to marry my oldest daughter many years ago after she asked if I would perform her ceremony. Since then, I have officiated hundreds of ceremonies, including two of my other children. Because I enjoy making the day special for you, I will take the time to work to make your day special.
I have been a part of the “wedding world” most of my life. My family were caterers, and I grew up helping my dad and mom pretty much from the time I could walk. The day you get married should be one of the happiest days in your life, and my goal is to make it as special and meaningful as it can be. I will work with you to customize the ceremony to be a reflection of your unique and special relationship, to ensure you are completely satisfied with your ceremony.
There are so many items on the pre-wedding checklist to get accomplished and completed before the wedding day arrives. Let me help you check off finding your officiant.
I truly believe that one’s wedding day should be a happy one and a day you will remember for the rest of your life. I would love to work with you to create the ceremony that you dreamed of. I do not do cookie-cutter ceremonies but instead, I speak with you and together, we work to tailor the ceremony to be a reflection of your special relationship, customizing what is included whether that is a unity ceremony, special stories, and accolades, children or even that special furry friend
My only goal is to ensure your wedding day is yours and it is a day you won’t forget together we can create the ceremony of your dreams.
Please read my reviews below and see what I can help you with.
Dates are only held and confirmed with signed contracts and deposits. I do not charge a travel charge or hourly.
Thank you for looking me up.
