Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I work hard for my clients. I’m not the cheapest but I’m also not the most expensive. I strive to be fair and honest and also charge what I’m worth.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
1. I do a phone consultation: During this conversation I determine what the client qualifies for and then give them a list of information that I need them to gather. 2. Meet client: Review the information they provided, review their documents to prepare the petition, review and sign docs with client. 3. File case: I file the case and notify you and any of your creditors who need immediate notice. Complete all documentation for your hearing. 4. Hearing: Accompany client to the hearing. And complete any follow up hearings or documents the court may need. I also talk to you along the way and make sure your well-informed, know what to expect and try to make the process as easy as possible.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have a J.D. degree, 15 years working as a bankruptcy attorney, public speaking and seminar experience; I’m also a mom and wife and know what it costs to raise a family in California!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
When the market crashed in 2008 I was hired by a bankruptcy firm to lead their bankruptcy department. 15 years later, I still enjoy helping families get a fresh start, save a home or just get peace of mind.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I’ve worked with very wealthy individuals, and have done business cases, student loan litigation, and lien avoidance and tax issues. But the bulk of my clientele are just hard-working people who need to catch a break. My clients are from all walks of life and all ethnicities, socio economic backgrounds and genders. I’m here to serve the greater Los Angeles community and I do not discriminate.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I stopped a foreclosure this morning for a single widowed mother. I help people who have gone through difficult life challenges and I’m proud of my work.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look for the best quality attorney to help you, not just the cheapest price. I’ve seen too many people pay a lot more trying to clean up someone else’s mess.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What their end goal is.
