Introduction

Hello! My name is Jennifer Jones and I want to help you with your case! I completely understand that it is stressful for most clients but the process is fairly simple. You provide the information and documents that I request and I do the rest. Everyone's financial situation is unique and sometimes requires more work than others. My fee ranges from $1800-$2500 depending on the work involved. However, I am willing to negotiate a workable fee with you. I respond to my clients' questions in a timely manner so you won't feel like you've been "left hanging." I want the satisfaction of the discharge letter and its great relief to be yours. Have a wonderful day and I hope to be hearing from you soon. Jennifer

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Just about every client I have is on a payment plan. I only require that they be paid in full before filing. I consider my pricing to be very reasonable.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I like to offer a free consultation so a potential client can ask their questions, lessen their fears, and heighten their understanding of the process. Not every attorney offers a free consultation so I'm different in that way. From this point, at the client's choosing, we'll make an appointment to meet (facetiming is fine now) to sign my retainer and make a deposit payment if a payment plan is needed. During the pandemic, I have been meeting clients through Zoom or something similar and it has really worked. It saves everyone time and money and frustration with LA traffic.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I graduated from law school and passed the toughest bar in the nation. I continue to attend bankruptcy seminars. I belong to two bankruptcy list-serves that keep me on the pulse of what is current and any sticky client situations that need a village to help answer.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have single and married clients that have filed individually and jointly. I have clients that file in downtown L.A., Woodland Hills, Riverside, and Santa Ana. Even a couple in Santa Barbara. These 5 areas all make up the Central District of California. The majority of my clients have personal bankruptcies to file as opposed to business bankruptcies.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I made the 2015 & 2016 Honor Rolls of pro bono volunteers for the Los Angeles Bankruptcy Self Help Desk & Pro Se Clinic Volunteers. It does not take a lot of time to make a difference.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Clients should really comb through their monthly income (pay stubs, profits & losses) and their monthly household/car expenses. What is their disposable income at the end of the month?
