If your household income is below certain thresholds, some courts might WAIVE your filing fee of $338. My attorney's fees for a Chapter 7 start at $949 and up based on the complexity of your case. Some common factors that require greater attorney fees include above median income, home ownership, tax debt, and interest in a business, among others.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I personally open each application and review it with my client immediately. After taking the application, my client knows what kind of bankruptcy is suitable for them and what the costs will be.
